     William H. Bailey, was born in 1898 at Kansas.2

William H. Bailey married Euphemia Arnott, daughter of John Hunter Arnott and Helen Monro, on 15 May 1924 at Chaffee County, Colorado.2,3

Bill Bailey was well known for his Bailey's Orchestra. He was also an insurance agent for the M. J. Verzuh insurance company of Gunnison.

Art and Elsie Welch say that the Bill Bailey Orchestra practiced at the Arnott house (Ma and Pa's). Bill played the sax and clarinet. Famie (Arnott) Bailey played the piano, as did Ella (Bottenfield) Arnott and Fern (Fielder) Arnott. Henry Arnott played saxaphone. John Arnott played the drums. William "Toots" Arnott played the trombone and sax.4,5

In 1930, William H. Bailey appeared on the United States Census, at Crested Butte, Gunnison County, Colorado.6

On 3 April 1940, William H. Bailey appeared on the United States Census, at Gunnison, Gunnison County, Colorado, Bill was working as a salesman for Colorado Fuel & Iron Company.7

William H. Bailey died in February 1969.4 and was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado.8
