     James Woodland, son of James Woodland Sr. and Elizabeth (?), was born at Camden County, Georgia.1 James Woodland was the son of James Woodland Sr. and Elizabeth (?).1

On 15 April 1790, a license was issued to a James Woodland, Jr. to marry Miss Hannah Miller.2

James Woodland was included in the will of James Woodland Sr. on 10 August 1800 at Camden County, Georgia; "Woodland, James. Bequeaths to son James Woodland, Jr., to daughter Frances, to daughter Mariah, and to son Robert when he becomes 21, and to wife Elizabeth. Exc. Elizabeth Woodland."
In the will, James, Jr. is given 1/4 of a lot in the town of St. Marys, the Negro boy names Isaac, and $100 cash, all to be given when he reaches age 21.
Daughter Francis was given 1/8 of the same lot in St. Marys and $100 all to be given on January 1, 1802.
Daughter Mariah was to receive 1/8 of the St. Marys lot, a Negro grl named Sid, and $1,000 cash, to be given when she turned age 18.
Son Robert was given 1/4 of the St. Marys lot, a Negro fellow named Dembo, and $100 cash to be pid at the age of 21.
The witnesses to this will were: D. Tompkins, John Tompkins, William Johnston, and Thomas King.3,4
