Aaron Vederoff. Photo was taken in Siberia prior to 1916, and probably on his wedding day around 1906.
Aaron Vederoff, son of Unknown Unknown, was born before 1900 at Siberia, Russia. Aaron Vederoff was the son of Unknown Unknown.

Aaron Vederoff married Esther M. Sakker, daughter of Moses Sakker and Agnes Gourovitch, circa 1906 at Siberia.1

Until his death in 1916, Aaron Vederoff ran a fishery on the Amur River in Siberia. It is possible that they moved to the river compound for the fishing season and the rest of the year lived 1/2 mile away. The family was very well to do. before 1916.2

Aaron Vederoff died on 18 October 1916 at Nickolivski, Siberia, Russia. Before the Revolution in Russia, but probably building up to it, the adult male Vederoffs, including Aaron, were murdered. His son Morris said that it was peasants who came up the river. Other family members report that there was a "bandit" by the name of Trepeezin who gathered together a gang of unhappy peasants and took them from village to village. They killed possibly the wealthy, possibly Jews (though there were Jews in the gang).1,2,3
