     William Ullom, son of Jacob Ullom and Margaret (?), was born on 1 January 1832.1,2 William Ullom was the son of Jacob Ullom and Margaret (?).1

William Ullom appeared on the United States census of 1850 in the household of Jacob Ullom at Vinton County, Ohio.3

William Ullom married Hannah Dowd on 10 August 1856 at Vinton County, Ohio.4

William and Hannah (Dowd) Ullom moved to La Porte County, Indiana, in 1856. Then in 1883 they moved to Tama County, Iowa. They had 8 children: Hattie died at age 5; Homer died 14 April 1892; J.M; Clara who married David Murray; Ida; Etta; and Charles.5

William Ullom died on 6 June 1893 at Toledo, Tama County, Iowa, at age 61. William Ullom was kicked by a horse at the livery barn of Ullom Brothers in Iowa. He did not survive.5 He was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Toledo, Tama County, Iowa.2
