     Anna Bell Travis, daughter of James Travis and Susan Merrill, was born on 21 December 1872 at Jasper County, Mississippi. Anna Bell Travis was the daughter of James Travis and Susan Merrill. She was also known as Annie.2

Anna Bell Travis married William Archie Stevens, son of John Samuel Stevens and Rebecca Jane Adams, on 7 July 1896 at Jones County, Mississippi.44

The undersigned together with the grantee, Mrs. Mattie McClelland, Mrs. Annie Steens, Mrs. Susie Trest and Miss Ida Travis are the sole heirs at law of Mr. James Travgis who died intestate."9
