     Charles Mayfield, Jr. says that he remembers Ida living on James St. in Jackson, MS when he was a child and they would visit her with his grandmother, Anna Bell Travis. She had no children. Ida S. Travis, daughter of James Granberry Travis and Susan Merrill, was born in 1876 at Jasper County, Mississippi. Ida S. Travis was the daughter of James Granberry Travis and Susan Merrill.
