     Martha Emiline Ruffin, was born on 22 September 1873.1

Martha Emiline Ruffin married Edwin Rufin Welborn, son of Pendleton Clay Welborn and Sara Jane Allen, in 1890.3 She was also known as Martha Ellen Ruffin.3
