     Euphemia Pitcairn, daughter of John Pitcairn and Mary Beveridge, was born in February 1849 at Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland.1,2 Euphemia Pitcairn was the daughter of John Pitcairn and Mary Beveridge.11

Euphemia Pitcairn married Thomas Hunter, son of John Hunter and Mary Campbell, on 29 December 1871 at in the Church Manse, Saline, Fife, Scotland.1

Euphemia Pitcairn immigrated into the United States with Thomas Hunter on in 1879; from Scotland.2

Euphemia Pitcairn appeared on the United States census of 1880 in the household of Thomas Hunter at Shafton, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.3

Euphemia Pitcairn witnessed the marriage of John Hunter Arnott and Helen Monro on 25 September 1891 at Crested Butte, Gunnison County, Colorado; This marriage was performed by Edwin Martin, a Congregational Clergyman.4,5,6

Euphemia Pitcairn appeared on the United States census of 1900 in the household of Thomas Hunter at Canon City, Fremont County, Colorado.7

Euphemia Arnott was named after Euphemia Pitcairn; Elsie Arnott Welch, sister of Euphemia Arnott, had told this researcher that Famie was named after a Euphamia Pitcairn. For a number of years it was unknown who Euphamia Pitcairn was. Then, in correspondence with a Hunter family researcher in Scotland, the mystery was finally solved. Euphamia (Pitcairn) Hunter was a great aunt of Euphemia Arnott and is buried in the Crested Butte Cemetery next to the Arnott family.8

Euphemia Pitcairn appeared on the United States census of 30 April 1910 in the household of Thomas Hunter at Walsenburg, Huerfano County, Colorado.9

Euphemia Pitcairn died in 1915 at Colorado.10 and was buried at Crested Butte Cemetery, Crested Butte, Gunnison County, Colorado.10
