     James Moorhead married Sarah (?).1

James Moorhead was apparently a mill right.1

James Moorhead died circa 1759 at Bladen County, North Carolina.1

James Moorhead left a will on 4 April 1759 at Bladen County, North Carolina, "All my estate to my wife & children Sarah, William, James, Jane and Sarah Moorhead. If executors sell my land, then the money to be put to use until the children are of age."1

On 2 May 1774 was the following land transaction: "Peter Byrne to Benjamin Clarke, (Planter) 60 lbs. proc. money. 103 A on NE side of N.W. River joining John Forester, being part of a tract sold by John Forester to James Moorehead, deceased; then John King marrying Jane Moorehead, daughter to the said James, the said103 A of land became his & John King sold sd. land to Peter Byrne."2
