     John Munro, was born in 1801 at Ceres, Fife, Scotland.2,1

John Munro married Ann Dykes on 25 March 1826 at Ceres, Fife, This marriage was recorded in both Ceres and Ferry-Port-On-Craig in Fifeshire.1

In 1861, John Munro appeared on the Scotland Census, at Cotterdrum, Aberlemno, Angus, Scotland, John is reported to be a crofter of 22 acres. Daughters Ann and Agnes were both working as domestic servants. There was also a lodger in the household by the name of Peter Ross.3

John Munro died on 5 June 1891.1
