     William Merrill, son of Abel Merrill and Eliza Cooley, was born in 1821 at Wayne County, Mississippi.1 William Merrill was the son of Abel Merrill and Eliza Cooley.1

William Merrill married Kezziah Goodwin Overstreet in 1847.1
