     Robert Newton King, son of James King and Margaret O'Neil, was born on 23 March 1831.1 Robert Newton King was the son of James King and Margaret O'Neil.1

Robert Newton King married Anna M. Johnson on 20 December 1853.2

On 16 June 1860, Robert Newton King appeared on the United States Census, at Traders Hill, Charlton County, Georgia.3

Robert Newton "was a captain in the Fourth Georgia Cavalry under the command of Col. Duncan L. Clinch."4,5

Robert Newton King married Caroline Oxley.4

Robert Newton King died on 5 June 1897 at age 66.1 and was buried at Zion Cemetery, Kingsland, Camden County, Georgia.6
