     Lucinda Mae Heltzel, was born on 2 May 1873 at Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania.11

Lucinda Mae Heltzel married Forest Emmet Bottenfield, son of Isaac Bottenfield and Mary E. Treux, on 2 May 1883.1

Lucinda Mae Bottenfield was born May 2, 1873 at Altoona, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Levi and Sarah Heltzell (sic). She came to Nuckolls County with her family when quite young.
On May 2, 1893 she was married to Forrest E. Bottenfield at Nelson. To this union were born 3 sons and 1 daughter. Mr. Bottenfield passed away in 1961.

Mrs. Bottenfield was baptized in the Christian Church at Nelson on February 11, 1898, and served in the Church for many years. She was a member of the Easter (sic) Star, Chapter 27 in Nelson.

Mrs. Bottenfield passed away October 7, 1971 at the Good Samaritan Home in Nelson at the age of 98. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one son, Clifford L. She is survived by two sons, Fred C. of Portland, Oregon and Ralph F. of Idaho Springs, Colorado; one daughter, Helen Consbruck of Phoenix, Oregon; 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 11, 1971 at 10 a.m. at the First Christian Church, Nelson. Rev. Victor Schwarz officiated.

Casket bearers were Ellis Garrison, Jack Wehrman, H. Mc Adamson, Floyd Rouse, Jim Murphy and Tony Consbruck.

Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery, Nelson, Nebraska.

Klawitter Funeral Home, Nelson was in charge of the arrangements.1
