     James Granberry, son of Moses Granberry and Elizabeth (?), was born circa 1725 at Norfolk County, Virginia.1 James Granberry was the son of Moses Granberry and Elizabeth (?).1

James Granberry married Mary Maning, daughter of Thomas Maning and Sarah Taylor.1

In The Granberry Family and Allied Families, it says: "Thomas Maning (and wife Sarah) of Norfolk County, Va., conveyed 16 Dec. 1758 for love to son-in-law James Granbery of same county, 50 acres in Norfolk County near the head of the Western Branch, part of land which formerly belonged to John Tucker, with houses, etc. Witnesses: Thos, Jeremiah and Henry Creech."2

James Granberry left a will on 14 October 1760 at Norfolk County, Virginia.2
