Elizabeth E. Godwin married Andrew Jackson King, son of Thomas King III and Maria Therese Woodland, on 6 June 1869 at Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida.1,4

Elizabeth E. Godwin appeared on the United States census of 6 August 1870 in the household of Andrew Jackson King at Nassau County, Florida.5

On 15 January 1873, Elizabeth Godwin King, widow of Andrew Jackson King, sold what apparently was the location of King's Ferry, FL, on behalf of her minor children, Ann Elizabeth and Edwin King, to Benjamin C. Parker, guardian of the older children of Andrew Jackson King and his first wfe Alif Geiger King.6
