     Eliza Jane Coats, daughter of William Coats and Nancy Jane Kittrell, was born on 18 February 1842 at Lauderdale County, Mississippi.2 Eliza Jane Coats was the daughter of William Coats and Nancy Jane Kittrell.2

Eliza Jane Coats married James Morgan Valentine, son of William Allen Valentine and Cynthia Evaline Welch, in 1859 at Mississippi.11
