Edna Ainsworth 82, of Indianola, died of heart failure January 2, 1998 at Indianola Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Ainsworth was born in Kemper County, MS. She was a life long resident of Indianola. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Indianola. She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Ainsworth, three sons, Kenneth, Clyde and Melvin Ainsworth. Surviors include her son: L.E. of TX, Daughters: Mary Stokes of Cordova, TN, Ann Barnett Crowley, TX, Alice Broomhall Everman, TX, Ellen Smith of Indianola. Brothers: J.W. Chadwick of Clarksdale, Robert Vaughn of Greenville; sister Lorene Greer of Avon, MS 23 grandchildren: 14 great grandchildren. Services were Jan 4 at Mortimer Funeral Home in Indianola with burial at Ruleville City Cemetery.4 and was buried at Lehrton Cemetery, Indianola, Sunflower County, Mississippi.4
